Take a Break, You Deserve It, It is World Mental Health Day

Although 2020 has been a difficult year, look at the bright side, it is already October, and there are just two (2) more months left filled with fun holidays, such as: Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas! Do not forget to take a break every once in a while, because you absolutely deserve it! Especially on October 10th, World Mental Health Day!

Over the years, mental health has made great strides in no longer being a stigma, but an important topic to openly discuss. Now those who are in need of therapy can freely visit a therapist without judgements. Keep up the good work!

Make your voice heard and do not be afraid to share your thoughts with your loved ones--co-workers, neighbors, friends, sorority sisters or fraternity brothers, and family members!

Having trouble in class? Relax, close your eyes, take a deep breath, and exhale. Do things one at a time and celebrate small victories. Remember to also share your thoughts with your classmates, teacher's or teaching assistants, professors, or academic advisors. They may be able to assist you or offer some leniency during these unprecedented times.
